Using the AI Assistant

The Chreos Dashboard includes a built-in AI assistant that can help you find information, look up data, and answer questions about your business.

Opening the AI Assistant

Click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of any page. This opens the AI chat panel where you can type questions and receive answers.

What Can the AI Do?

The AI assistant can:

  • Search for customers — "Find customers with 'Smith' in their name"
  • Look up account details — "What's the balance for customer 12345?"
  • Search inventory — "Find items containing 'widget'"
  • Run data queries — "Show me the top 10 customers by sales this month"
  • Answer questions — "How do I switch companies?" or "What does this field mean?"
The AI has access to your Chreos data (within your permission level) and can pull up information without you needing to navigate through menus.

Data Security

  • The AI can only see data you have permission to access
  • If you're a staff member, the AI is limited to your assigned companies
  • All AI queries are logged for audit purposes
  • The AI cannot modify data — it's read-only

Tips for Better Results

  • Be specific: "Find customer John Smith" works better than "find John"
  • Include context: "Show me sales for this week" is clearer than "show sales"
  • Ask follow-ups: The AI remembers your conversation, so you can refine your questions
